Absegnung gaming PC ca. 1500 Euro

Ja, probiere einfach mal. Könnte ja klappen.

 

Versuche mal im BIOS ein XMP Profil auszuwählen.

 

Ich konnte im BIOS kein XMP Profil fuer den RAM finden und das Mobo Manual ist leider auch nicht allzu hilfreich. Stattdessen habe ich mal den AI Overclock tuner auf D.O.C.P gesetzt und DDR-4 15-17-17-35 gewaehlt mit einer Memory Frequency von 2933 MHz.
Allerdings scheint mir das fuer den RAM nicht viel gebracht zu haben und die CPU um 200 MHz uebertaktet zu haben:

Habt ihr eine Idee, wo ich das XMP Profil einstellen kann?

Edit: Im Chipset scheint der hoere Takt ja sogar angenommen worden zu sein, aber der RAM wird weiterhin mit Max bandwidth DDR4-2132 (1066 MHz) gelistet.

 

Versuche mal

Spannung auf 1,35 und ProcODT auf 53,3Ohm einstellen und mit F10 speichern, Neustart.
Danach D.O.C.P. aktivieren oder manuell auf 2933MHz einstellen.
Latenzen funktionieren nur 16-17-17-17-35.

Ich hab jetzt folgendes gemacht:
DRAM Voltage von auto (1.2V) --> 1.35 V
ProcODT_SM von auto --> 53.3 ohm

exit & save

D.O.C.P. DDR-4-3000 15-17-17-35
Memory Frequency von auto (2133 MHz) --> 2933 Mhz

exit & save

Danach ist das BIOS geposted und der PC startete BIOS im safe mode mit den alten Settings.
hab dann stattdessen:
Memory Frequency von 2933 Mhz --> 2800 Mhz.

Da startete der PC zumindest. In CPU-Z steht NB Frequency und DRAM 1397 MHz und Timings 16-17-17-35. Was mich etwas verwirrt, ist, dass unter SPD weiterhin max. bandwidth 2132 MHz in der SPD Timings table fuer JEDEC #6 bis #8 auch weiter ca 1066 MHz steht und nur unter XMP-2998 MHz steht 1500 MHz. Ich bin nun einigermassen verwirrt, wie schnell meine Riegel eigentlich wirklich laufen.

 

Was sagt www.cpu-z.de bei Memory?

Was soll die ganze RAM-Rumwustelei eigentlich bringen?
Wenige Prozent Mehrleistung?
Dafür die Quälerei der Hardware?

Ich weiß ja nicht ... .

Beim Ryzen scheint da auch noch viel im Argen zu liegen.
Wenn die BIOS-Qualität von ASUS auch so bescheiden, wie bei den Intel-Brettern ist - viel Spaß beim Basteln.
Ich hab schon das 7. BIOS seit einem Jahr installiert, damit das Z170 einigermaßen stabil läuft.
