HP Connection Manager 4.4.11.1

    Ich habe ein Notebook HP Probook 6570b / Windows 7 Prof. (voll aktualisiert).

    Empfohlen wird nun von HP die neue Version HP Connection Manager 4.4.11.1 herunterzuladen. Der Download funktioniert, nicht aber die Installation. Soweit ich als Laie die Materie kenne, hat es irgendwie auch mit Treiber zu tun.

    Weiss jemand, wie ich die Installation abwickeln kann? Danke.

    is not implemented" to be displayed when the system is powered on.
    PREREQUISITES:
    - HP or Compaq branded machines only.

    - Microsoft Windows XP systems must have SP3 installed.
    - Microsoft .Net Framework version 3.5 SP1 must be installed.

    NOTE: LTE modules are not supported by HP Connection Manager on systems running
    Micrsoft Windows XP.

    NOTE: The installer begins by verifying that the target system meets the
    prerequisites. If all prerequisites are not met, the installation will stop. If
    the software is not executed with the silent installation command line switches
    and the prerequisites are not met, an error message will also be displayed.
    HOW TO USE:
    1. Download the file by clicking the "Download" or "Obtain Software" button and
    saving the file to a folder on your hard drive (make a note of the folder where
    the downloaded file is saved).

    2. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

    ... das ist anscheinend der Beschrieb. Etwas anderes habe ich nicht gefunden. Die Installation bleibt einfach "stehn".
