1. Liebe Forumsgemeinde,

    aufgrund der Bestimmungen, die sich aus der DSGVO ergeben, müssten umfangreiche Anpassungen am Forum vorgenommen werden, die sich für uns nicht wirtschaftlich abbilden lassen. Daher haben wir uns entschlossen, das Forum in seiner aktuellen Form zu archivieren und online bereit zu stellen, jedoch keine Neuanmeldungen oder neuen Kommentare mehr zuzulassen.     Sobald ich den Nvidia Treiber installiere um 3d Unterstützung zu bekommen, bekomme ich nach den Neustart einen schwartzen Bildschirm.
    Ich bin leider kein Profi!
    Habe einen Athlon 64 mit 1,5 GB Ram, W-Lan USB und Nvidia Geforce 4200 TI,

    Hatten wir hier ja schonmal.

    Aber ich muss sagen, ich hatte auch - für mich - unlösbare Probleme mit der 4200ti unter Ubuntu, am Ende habe ich dann ne FX5700 eingebaut und gut war :-)

    Vielleicht weiss ja Andy was. Er ist hier der SuSE Spezialist. ;)

    Wie schon in dem anderen Thread:

    1. Installation des Legacy Treibers mittels 1-Click-Installation:

    (Dein Modell GeForce Ti 4200 - DID 0x0253 sollte unterstützt werden)

    2. Konfiguration des X-server in der Konsole (als Root):

    Code:
    :~>su
    [Passwort]
    :~>[COLOR=Red]sax2 -r[/COLOR]
    Danach ein beherzter Neustart ......

    Sollte alles nicht funktionieren, schließe ich mich peed's Meinung an:

    Kauf dir für 30,- Euro eine FX5200 - Die läuft problemlos und ist sogar noch besser als die alte Grafikgurke,
    die du jetzt hast ..........:madcat:

    3D bei einer 4200 Ti is doch sowieso net so es wahre, ich würd dir empfehlen die 30€ zu investieren

    EDIT: Die kostet doch gar keine 30€ mehr, wenn ich mich net irre
