    hi,

unable to open the installer database /etc/vmware-tools/locations in read-mode

    <URL: http://www.vmware.com/download/ >
    (Registrierung erforderlich).
    Installation erfolgt mit
    sudo rpm -ivh /home/user..../VMWARE/VMware-server-1.0.0- 28343.i386.rpm

vielleicht kann jemand was damit anfangen:

    bash: runme.pl: command not found

There is probably a slight difference in the kernel configuration between the
set of C header files you specified and your running kernel. You may want to
rebuild a kernel based on that directory, or specify another directory.

ok also das prob is gelöst:

    hab einfach

    cd /usr/lib/linux
    make mrproper
    make cloneconfig
    make prepare all

vmware is installed, but it has not been (correctly) configured
for this system. To (re-)configure it, invoke the following command:

    also Jungs,
